The company was founded in 1999 and is a privately held corporation with its corporate headquarters located in San Diego, CA and a regulatory relations office located in Washington, D.C.

It is guided by an experienced board of directors and an advisory board, and a management team comprised of experienced compliance, business and technology executives.
